The M4 GT3’s Baby Brother Is Here, With up to 550BHP

As for the engine, it’s the familiar 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six, but it’s capable of up to 550bhp and 479lb-ft of torque, regulations permitting. There is also a seven-speed ZF transmission and 10-speed traction control.

Inside there are Recaro seats and a Fanatec steering wheel. Oh, and BMW has fitted what it calls the M Track Cockpit, which allows drivers and teams to check various settings without having to plug in a laptop.

Production will begin in October this year, with the first deliveries in time for the 2023 season. BMW also announced that the car is now entering its final testing phase and will take part in the next Nuerburgring Endurance Series and the 24 Hours of Portimão. It will be a good test…
