Volvo Car USA Reports Sales of 8,560 Cars in February
Volvo Car USA reports sales of 8,560 cars in February, up 38 per cent compared to the same month last year and the fifth consecutive month of year-over-year growth led by continued demand for the company’s cars, especially the Recharge lineup of fully electric and plug-in hybrid models.
Sales of the company’s fully electric cars– the XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge compact luxury SUVs- increased 75 per cent compared with last year’s last month and comprised 11 per cent of sales.
Sales of the company’s Recharge models were up 45 per cent and comprised 29 per cent of all Volvo cars sold in the US during the month.
In Canada, February sales increased 14 per cent year-over-year, with a 65 per cent increase in Recharge model volume, which comprised 44 per cent of retail deliveries.
