Cyan Racing celebrated its 25th anniversary during the FIA World Touring Car Cup weekend at Adria Raceway in Italy, where Yann Ehrlacher extended his points lead with a win, and Santiago Urrutia made it out of two.

Since its foundation in 1996, the Swedish outfit has claimed four World titles and seven Scandinavian titles, currently fighting for its fifth World title in the 2021 WTCR season.

“We have had an amazing journey so far and to celebrate our 25th year of racing with such a strong result is a true testament to the amazing efforts by everyone in the team,” said Christian Dahl, founder and owner of Cyan Racing.

“It’s less than four years since we claimed our first World title, and now we are in contention for our fifth. Here is to another 25 strong and exciting years.”

Reigning WTCR champion Yann Ehrlacher started the main race from pole position and never looked back after a strong start. The Lynk & Co 03 TCR driver headed the field from lights to flag – extending his points lead to 35 points ahead of the season finale.
