The 2022 Subaru Ascent, BRZ, Forester, and Outback earned top spots in their respective segments. The all-new second-generation BRZ secured a first-time win in its segment.

5-Year Cost to Own Award: Sports Car
5-Year Cost to Own Award: Compact SUV (third year in a row)
5-Year Cost to Own Award: Midsize SUV – 2-row (second year in a row)
