ANNOUNCEMENT

Production of Fisker Ocean SUV to Begin During Q4 2022

Designer of the world’s most emotion-stirring, eco-friendly electric vehicles and advanced mobility solutions – has recently confirmed the company has taken reservations and deposits for 7,062 Ocean SUVs. With production expected to begin during Q4, 2022, the Fisker Ocean is the first of four all-electric vehicles the company expects to bring to market by 2025.

With 30,277 indications of interest in the Fisker Ocean from potential customers, the company is seeing conversion rates from interest to reservation at 23%.

“I want to first thank all of our reservation holders for their interest and support, said Henrik Fisker, chairman and CEO of Fisker Inc. We had aimed to have 5,000 reservations by the end of July, so it is really encouraging to see this level of global interest in the Fisker Ocean. Not only have we seen an acceleration in the rate of reservations but also a continued rise in the number of people registering with us for more information. We created the Fisker Flexee app not only to make the registration and reservation system painless but also as our platform for ultimately delivering our long-term vision for Electric Mobility as a Service.”

Fisker is planning a portfolio expansion to a four-vehicle range by 2025. In addition to the Ocean SUV, the four-vehicle lineup will include a -super-sports sedan based on the EMotion concept, a sports crossover, and a lifestyle pickup truck. Each vehicle will be delivered utilising platforms, battery packs, and component systems from industry-leading car manufacturers and technology suppliers.

Fisker will make its final selection on platform and manufacturing location in the coming months, consistent with the planned start of production of the Fisker Ocean SUV during Q4 2022.
