As RM Sotheby’s Miami auction nears, the last few cars are added to an incredible roster of modern classics, supercars, and luxury automobiles. The sale is limited to 60 automobiles and will take place at the 1111 Lincoln building, an “above-the-horizon” space overlooking Miami.
2011 Ford Fiesta GYM3 – One of the undisputed stars of the Miami auction is a car that needs no introduction. With over 66 million views on YouTube, Ken Block’s physics-defying 2011 Ford Fiesta is instantly recognizable worldwide.
The tire-shredding Fiesta was the first Ford vehicle used by Block in the “Gymkhana” series. The Ford powerplant allows the Fiesta an extraordinary level of performance, rocketing from 0-60 in just over two seconds.
Recently serviced with a fresh transmission rebuild, this iconic car is ready for whatever the lucky new owner has in store. Built to withstand jumps, drifts, and spins, this purpose-built, one-of-a-kind internet icon will provide endless thrills to its next owner and be the star of any car show it attends. It carries an estimate of $300,000 – $350,000.
2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport – Displaying 2,188 miles at the time of cataloguing, this sensational Bugatti is magnificently presented and is one of just a handful of Chiron Sports to be publicly offered at auction. This Chiron Sport has numerous chassis improvements over the base model Chiron.
These upgrades enhanced the car’s cornering abilities, allowing it to run the Nardo Ring in Italy five seconds faster than the standard Chiron. This striking exposed carbon fibre black over Italian Red Chiron Sport is estimated at $3,000,000 – $3,500,000.
2019 Subaru WRX STI S209 – Special modern Subarus are coming into their collector-grade cars, which are among the most special. The first “S” series Subaru to ever sell in the United States, this stunning STI boasts incredibly low mileage at only 37 miles at the time of cataloguing. Handbuilt at the STI facility in Kiryu, Japan, and one of only 209, this like-new Subaru is estimated to sell for $100,000 – $120,000.
