New Fiat Doblò Arrives With First-Ever E-Doblò ELCV

2,607

You’ve seen the Citroen e-Berlingo, the Peugeot e-Rifter and the Vauxhall Combo-e, but here’s the electric Stellantis van/people carrier you’ve all been waiting for… it’s the all-new Fiat E-Doblò. Hurrah!

Exciting times we know, but calm that applause for just a moment. The new E-Doblò gets a 132bhp electric motor and a 50kWh battery for a total range of 173 miles. Top speed? An incredible 80mph. Oh yeah.

Fiat says there’s 100kW fast charging, too, so you’ll be able to top up from empty to 80 per cent in 30 minutes. Everything about the E-Doblò is rapid.

Like its Stellantis counterparts, the E-Doblò will be available with two wheelbase lengths, with both able to take a payload of 800kg in their proper van versions. Fiat has confirmed crew cab versions, too, with a cleverly-packaged seven-seat option indeed set to be available.

There’ll be petrol and diesel-engined versions of the latest-gen Doblò, but Fiat claimed that it’d stop selling non-electrified cars in the UK from July, so presumably, we would only get the E-Doblò on our shores. Have we excited, people?
