Ice Driving in a 4-Wheel Drive Car in Finland

This winter, Octola, the most exclusive five-star private wilderness in Finnish Lapland, introduces the Ultimate Ice Driving Experience under the guidance of Saudi Arabia’s rally driver, Rakan Al Rashed. Rakan is the first and only Arab in the world who will be giving lessons on ice driving during the Lapland winter.

Experience the thrill of ice driving in a 4-wheel drive Subaru WRX STI in a private area covered with snow tracks to encourage controlled slides. Rakan will supervise the ice driving lessons along with qualified instructors for personalized, real-time coaching, adapted to the individual driving style. The driving packages are tailored to beginners looking to discover ice-driving as well as professional drivers.

Set in the middle of 300 hectares of private wilderness within the Arctic Circle, Octola is the perfect escape for those looking to immerse themselves in nature in absolute privacy and comfort. This ultra-luxury cabin residence is a secluded private space with all the ingredients for an out of this world unique holiday experience with close family and friends.

Whether you book the entire cabin of 10 suites or take a wing of 6 or 4 suites, the rates are all-inclusive.  Facilities include a private gym and fitness centre; unique hand-carved wood-burning sauna and the freshest food cooked to your liking by your chef, private butler, and a wilderness guide.

The food is all sourced locally and consisting mainly of wild plants, berries, mushrooms and fish, all local, pure and ecologically gathered from nature to the table by a Michelin star Chef, complemented by excellent drinks chosen by one of the top sommeliers in Finland.

The four nights, the 5-day package includes two full days of ice driving (9 am -6 pm) and one full day for other winter activities such as snowmobiling, fat biking, quad biking and more. The package includes accommodation at the ultra-luxurious cabin residence with all hospitality included.
