Viktor Andersson Returns to TCR Europe with High Ambitions for 2024 Season

Young talent Viktor Andersson will be back in TCR Europe and is aiming high for the 2024 season, with team MA: GP having bought a new Lynk & Co 03 TCR.

The Swede finished fifth overall in his debut TCR Europe season, ending with a maiden podium finish in Barcelona.

The 2024 season will see him in a Lynk & Co 03 TCR that MA: GP recently bought from Geely Group Motorsport. The one he raced last year has been sold to a team in TCR UK.

“We have completed one test back home in Sweden with the new car, and the feeling is excellent,” said Viktor Andersson.

“2023 was a learning year not only for me but also for the team. We took some pretty big steps forward towards the end of the season, and I can’t wait to put what we have learned into action for 2024, hopefully hitting the ground running. My ambition is to break into the top three overall.”

Next up for Viktor Andersson and MA: GP is Vallelunga in Italy, and the TCR Europe season opener is April 19-21.

“We are glad to see MA: GP and Viktor Andersson taking on a new TCR Europe season with the Lynk & Co 03 TCR of Geely Group Motorsport. They are no doubt facing a competitive season. We’re looking forward to continuing our cooperation with them, which started in 2021 when they were racing in Scandinavia,” said Ron Hartvelt, Customer Sports Director of Geely Group Motorsport.

The Lynk & Co 03 TCR is represented by customer teams to Geely Group Motorsport in the FIA TCR World Tour, TCR Europe, TCR Australia, TCR China, TCR South America and TCR UK in 2024.
