Cadillac Middle East Showcases All-New XT4 at the 2019 Kuwait Motor Show

First unveiled at Cadillac House in Manhattan in March 2018, the American automotive brand’s first-ever compact SUV XT4, was proudly displayed to motoring enthusiasts who attended the internationally renowned event.

The XT4 is driven by an all-new Cadillac 2.0L Turbo engine, producing an SAE-certified output of 237 hp (177 kW). Coupled with a nine-speed automatic transmission with next-generation Electronic Precision Shift, the new engine features new efficiency-enhancing technologies including Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation).

Developed on an exclusive compact SUV architecture, the XT4 delivers striking design, confident performance, spacious accommodations and class-leading technologies, developed to attract the Middle East’s millennial audience.

Accompanying the Premium Luxury and Sport XT4 models, was a new line-up of Cadillac products – the popular full-size luxury Escalade, mid-size SUV, XT5 and the sedan models – CTS-V and CT6.

Christian Soemmer, Cadillac Middle East Managing Director, said, “On display at this year’s Kuwait Motor show is Cadillac’s first-ever compact SUV, the XT4, which marks the brand’s entry into the fastest-growing luxury segment. Designed to appeal to the region’s millennial audience, the all-new model features new class-leading technologies, premium levels of refinement as well as the all-new 2.0-Liter Turbo engine.

The 2019 Kuwait Motor is taking place at the 360Mall in Kuwait, until the 26th January.
