Ferrari Middle East has launched the 849 Testarossa in the region, celebrating its arrival at the annual Casa Ferrari event at Yas Links Golf Club in Abu Dhabi.
Taking place alongside the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend (5th-7th December), the Casa Ferrari event brought together guests and Ferraristi to experience its new model first-hand to mark its Middle East debut.
The car, which replaces the SF90 Stradale in the range, is a hybrid plug-in super sports berlinetta equipped with three electric motors alongside the mid-rear twin-turbo V8, delivering a total of 1050 cv.
The 849 Testarossa takes its place at the top of Ferrari’s range thanks to its performance, its ability to thrill the driver without ever compromising ride comfort or interior refinement, and its futuristic yet deeply historically rooted design.
The heart of the car is its twin-turbo, eight-cylinder internal combustion engine, part of a family that has received multiple International Engine of the Year awards.
When it comes to prominent innovations, the new turbo, the largest ever for a Ferrari production car, enables unprecedented acceleration. The hybrid group, comprising a rear electric motor and two units on the front axle, delivers 220 CV.
Furthermore, the vehicle dynamics have been developed with the aim of improving absolute performance, its consistency and accessibility, while maintaining a high level of driving pleasure.
The exterior reflects an architectural and futuristic aesthetic, balancing sculptural forms and graphic elements, while the interior is designed to optimise space and enhance ergonomics.
The Casa Ferrari is an annual event held in Abu Dhabi during the F1 GP weekend. A temporary luxury hospitality and entertainment venue, its villa design mirrors the concept of its title – Casa, meaning house in Italian – and serves as a home for the region’s Ferraristi community.
