Geely Auto’s EX5 Wins Prestigious Torino Automotive Design Award

Geely Auto has announced that the Geely EX5 has won the Torino Automotive Design Award (TADA) at the prestigious SALONE AUTO TORINO 2025 (Turin Auto Show). This international recognition highlights Geely’s leadership in intelligent electric mobility and human-centred design, and brings a moment of pride to Geely customers worldwide.

The design of the Geely EX5 was praised for its porcelain-inspired lustrous finish, which creates dynamic depth under different lighting conditions. Judges also highlighted the interior’s focus on comfort, space, and refined ergonomics, with standout features such as seat massage and ventilation functions as bonuses. From sculpted lighting configurations to premium seating finishes, the vehicle impressed the international jury with its ability to blend elegance, practicality, and innovation.

The award adds to Geely’s growing collection of global accolades, including the German Red Dot Design Award, Italy’s A’ Design Award, the American IDA International Design Gold Award, and the MUSE Platinum Award.

The Geely EX5 was co-designed by Geely’s Shanghai and Milan studios, underscoring the strength of the brand’s global design ecosystem, which also includes centres in Gothenburg, Coventry, and Ningbo.

Beyond this achievement, the Geely EX5 continues to play a central role in Geely’s expanding global strategy.

Since its international debut at Automechanika Frankfurt in 2024, the Geely EX5 has entered multiple markets and contributed to a 307% year-on-year increase in Geely’s pure EV exports in the first half of 2025. This includes a strong performance, which paves the way for an exciting lineup of upcoming NEV products from Geely to be launched over the next 12 months.
