OX Motorcycles Unveils Classy Electric Café Racer

An elegant electric bike designed for pure performance and classic motorbike aesthetics, giving a sense of class that is second to none. The undeniably edgy café racers are bang on trend for their edgy looks and performance. The Spanish electric bike manufacturer, OX Motorcycles, was founded in 2018 but has already proven a lot with its modern electric bikes that combine a touch of retro styling with cutting-edge technology and sustainable roots.

The company is about to launch a customisable version of its e-bike. We first looked at the renderings, which soon appeared on the Spanish market, followed by other European markets.

Pablo Baranoff Dorn worked with OX Motorcycles on the digital design of the bike, and his concept called “e-Café Racer by OX” is pretty much the final look of the electric bike, which is currently being kept under wraps.

The ultra-sharp aesthetic of this two-wheeled hunk has the perfect proportions to position it as a racy café racer and a racetrack monster that has the power to back up its intimidating stance. The lightweight café racer e-motorcycle will likely get an 8 kW rear hub motor powered by two removable batteries.

It should be able to reach a top speed of at least 110 km/h and travel about 100 km on a single charge. From the looks of it, the latest offering from OX will get a modern digital instrument cluster that harmonises perfectly with the classic-looking front end.

This display is complemented by a second display on the handlebars, which is used for navigation aids, notifications from the smartphone or switching music on the media player.

The sporty personality is written all over the face of the concept bike at the rear with a modern tail light contrasting with the retro tyres. The sleek exterior emphasises the bike’s urban character – enjoy the black bodywork with white stripes.

Individualisation comes in dry shades, interchangeable off-road tyres and a fascia with grille and side leather saddlebags. The high seating position will appeal to Generation Z, while the classic influences will attract more mature riders.
